Joey currently teaches Sociology at Douglas College in Vancouver. He has a PhD in Sociology with a research background in Environmental and Labour Movements.
We talk about Social Movements in general, and then more specifically the Anti-War on Drug Movement. We break it down and look at what this movement needs to be successful, gain momentum & power, and eventually create massive change in the world.
Keep an eye open for Joey's book this winter called Sociology of Home.

Nataschaa is trained in many disciplines and techniques, from Somatic Trauma Therapy, to Reiki, Acupressure, Breathwork, Yoga, Addictions Recovery & more. She integrates all of her skills in her work as a Trauma Therapist. Much of what she does has to do with the body, and more specifically the nervous system.
In this conversation we talk at length about how traumatic events can affect the nervous system, and keep people stuck with ingrained physical reactions that no longer serve them in a healthy way.
We cover a lot, from these forms of physical healing, to spirituality, individual healing vs. a sick culture, psychedelics as tools, and more. Nataschaa also talks a little about her time growing up in a community of Hare Krishnas.
